The Settings app centralizes shared settings, branding, notification routing, quote approvals, order emails, payment terms, AfterShip, 3PL runtime, purchase orders, item notifications, payment operations, payment gateways, GL intelligence, dashboards, holidays, and commission decay settings.

Prefer the app settings surfaces over raw record edits. The custom settings components exist to keep configuration consistent, validate dependencies, and prevent accidental changes that break quote approval, payment collection, fulfillment, reporting, or accounting.
When changing payment gateways, warehouses, provider configs, or finance defaults, treat the change as an operational migration. Preserve history and use successor-backed flows when records already have downstream transactions, orders, or provider references.
